Vince,

I am really interested to finding out more information on how this worked out. I know you guys planted awhile back, but I am interested in knowing some more details about your launch team. If you have a few minutes could you please answer some of these questions for me? Thanks.

- Did it consist of more unbelievers or believers who didn't go to church anymore, who made up the majority of your launch team?
- What was it like having meetings with the unbelievers about launching the church?
- How did it work with volunteers? How did you explain them their role in volunteering.

One last note, I read a blog post you did a while back about is the church really serious about reaching unchurched people as much as we say we are. I wanted to see what some of the things you guys are doing to reach unchurched people.

If you're planting a church, be absolutely anal about this. Churched people will, both intentionally or unintentionally, try to hijack and sabotage your vision.

It's tempting to allow churched people on board because you want warm bodies, people who can teach non-Christians, etc., but the cons definitely outweigh the pros. From personal experience, it will cause massive headaches and damage that will take a long time to repair, it will derail your church, and could possibly even kill it (it didn't kill ours, but she was on life support for awhile).
