Confusing is right for sure but if we should steer clear of confusing traditions we'd have to redo the whole shebang. Why don't we be rebels and drop the easter moniker and celebrate resurrection Sunday on the date we think it happened??? Who's with me?....Anybody? Bueller? Bueller? We could then make our regular easter service a day where we break down the etymolgy of the word and discuss dating problems and the early church moving from passover to 14 nisan, yada, yada, yada. That would REALLY be steering clear of confusing tradition<BR/><BR/>Or maybe we could just skip stressing over the confusing tradition stuff and say hey I know this holiday moves around on our calendar but it's the day we Christians celebrate Jesus conquering death and ultimately giving us eternal life that starts not when our bodies die but when we trust him. And since we now have thatlet's go share thatknowledge and love with everyone.<BR/><BR/>Sorry for the hint of sarcasm it just bugs me that we worry about trivial junk sometimes.
