Beer service makes it sound like people must drink beer or something. Personally, I don't drink alcohol at all, so I wouldn't be allowed at a "beer service" - but I can go to a bar service.

Second, when you say "next Tuesday" do you mean the 30th or the 23rd? We have people coming up from Wilmington on the 23rd to check it out. Either way, yes, you can definitely come. On the 30th I won't be preaching, but I will be there. The fact that I'm not preaching would actually make it easier for me to talk with you guys... Let me know.Vince Antonuccihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01577695138497215119noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2253529165034405240.post-6432708468055392032007-10-22T13:25:00.000-04:002007-10-22T13:25:00.000-04:00Yo, Vince...if I and couple of people come up to y...Yo, Vince...if I and couple of people come up to your beer service next Tuesday, is that cool? Also, could you spend a few minutes that evening talking with us? I don't want to take any seats or time aways from your target audience, but we'd love to see and hear about what you're doing. Let me know. Now, having committed ourselves to following God's lead instead of inviting Him to join our plans, we've transitioned to a micro-church structure that's relying COMPLETELY on word-of-mouth. We're wrestling with how to do that best, with how to make the micro-church thing as "unchurchy" as possible (your principles are really helping me think and pray through this stuff). The results are cool--our people (all of whom are brand spankin' new Christians or preChristians) are thinking how they can "market" the church instead of relying on an advertising campaign that costs a ton of jack. Just yesterday, one of our ladies (who's homeless) brought an entire family from her shelter to the church in my house. They loved it. It was awesome. Definitely showing what God can do through someone he's changing.

Keep up the good work, dude.

Aaron Saufley
Discovery Christian ChurchAaronwww.myspace.com/churchforusnoreply@blogger.com
