A Rose By Any Other Name

In my first week of blogging (several months ago) I announced that I wasn't going to blog about personal stuff, but only on one topic and I like to be a man of my word but ... I can't help it today ... my University of Illinois is playing in the Rose Bowl tomorrow! I went to three colleges - one for Undergrad, one for Law School, and one for Seminary - and Illinois is the the only with a good sports program. Well, not in football the last four years.

We went 2 - 10 in 2006.
We went 2 - 9 in 2005.
We went 3 - 8 in 2004.
We went 1 - 11 in 2003.

But tomorrow we're playing in the Grand Daddy of them all against USC. We'll probably get killed, but at least we got there!
