Calm down, calm down! I know you can't control yourself because it's Survey Saturday, but you must chill! What is Survey Saturday? Well, I'm not sure exactly, but I think it's when we do a survey. So ... here it is:
What one church do you know of that is REALLY reaching truly lost people?
Okay, so it's not "What church claims to be really reaching truly lost people," or "What church do you think might be..." But - do you know a church that you have good reason to believe is REALLY reaching truly lost people? Not one or two lost people, but like, this is a church that is really doing a killer job at reaching truly lost people? If you know some, I would love to know of them so I can learn from them. So leave a comment with the name and web site of that church and we can all check 'em out.
There are two churches I know of that I'm pretty sure are really doing it. (I wish there were more.) I've heard of others, but I'm a 'I don't believe it until I see it' kind of guy. So here's my two:
(1) Gateway Community Church: http://www.gatewaychurch.com/site/
(2) Central Christian Church: http://www.centralchristian.com/home.asp

mmmm...., other than Forefront? I thought Crossroads Community Church in Corona, CA (http://www.crossroadschurch.com/home.asp)
was doing a great job, but they do have a new senior pastor now.
I have not attended Rivertree Christian in Massilon, OH (http://www.rivertreechristian.com/default.asp), but in talking to Greg, he states that the DNA of Rivertree is similar to Forefront.
p.s. Alan, since I am planting about 1 1/2 hour from there, I'm gonna check that out the next time I am there. Thanks for the tip.

That's the church I attend and I'm going to speak from personal experience since my entire family from myself, to my husband and 2 of my 3 kids have found salvation there. They have a whole building full of people there that do whatever it takes to reach lost people. I've found no sacrifice is too great. Did I mention we are opening our first multi-site campus in Jan. 2008 and right now run 5 services every weekend at our current location so everyone has an opportunity to get to a service!
I live in a town of 3500 people in Southeast Missouri and what we do makes people here in town scratch their heads but you know what? New people are still coming every weekend. (Not a big church, although we do average between 600-700 people every weekend.) I will forever be grateful for a church that cares about reaching lost people.

Very much alive and kickin'.
In fact, it was the 'spirit' of this church that woke me and my wife out of our church daze. So, when we moved back to VB, we started looking for what we had there, which led us to Forefront.

Hey...I pastor Grace Church in Lititz, PA and happened upon your site while doing a google search on our church to see what people may be saying about us out there. How cool it was to see that our church was mentioned in response to your question...too bad it took me four months to find it and reply! Blessings!
